When I am asked this question:  Why Buy Now ?  I  respond with facts, such as the current low interest rates, wide selection of available properties, down payment assistant loan programs, and the opportunity to "make it like you want it" with the 203k Renovation loan.  Qulaified buyers may finance the repairs and improvements into the mortgage, have the work completed upon closing by approved contractors, and move into the home when renovations are completed.  Of course, if the renovations are minor, you can have the work completed while living in your new home. Buyers may finance both minor and major repairs and improvements ... updated kitchen, baths, even a new roof may qualify as eligible financing costs are evaluated. While negotiating the contract repair limits, this program can bring a lower sales price for the buyer and mean less money out of pocket for the seller.
